Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. November 27, 2017. Intralytix, Inc. announced today that it entered into a collaboration agreement with the G. N. Gabrichevsky Research Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology (GRIEM) (Moscow, Russia) for developing bacteriophage preparations against selected bacterial pathogens.
"Our colleagues at the Gabrichevsky Institute have considerable experience in working with bacteriophages, and we are pleased to have entered into this collaboration with Dr. Andrey Aleshkin's group at the Institute" stated Alexander Sulakvelidze, Intralytix's Executive Vice-President and Chief Scientific Officer of the Company.
