Research Scientist

Intralytix is currently seeking a Research Scientist to work at our laboratories in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will participate in various research projects focused on the development of bacteriophage based products for food safety and / or human health applications. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The benefits package includes health insurance, company paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance, paid parking, and 401(K) with matching company contribution.

The Research Scientist:

The successful candidate will be expected to exhibit individual initiative, work independently, be technically proficient and accurate, effectively communicate in both laboratory notebooks and written reports, and possess an attention to detail.

Skills / Qualifications:


A B.S. degree in Life Sciences plus a minimum of three years of related experience - or a M.S. degree in Life Sciences plus a minimum of one year of related experience - are required for the position. The position can be upgraded to Senior Research Scientist based on the experience and qualifications (requires Ph.D. degree in microbiology or a related field).
