Assistant Research Scientist

Intralytix has an Assistant Research Scientist position available in their laboratories in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will participate in various research projects focused on the development of bacteriophage based products for food safety and / or human health applications.

The job responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate will be self-directed and able to work independently, performing tasks under general supervision. Scrupulous data recording habits, good written and oral communication, and flexibility are essential for the position. The ability to work in a team environment is a must. Due to the technical and scientific nature of the work, a bachelor's degree in biological sciences is necessary, and having a basic microbiology background will be helpful. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The benefits package includes health insurance, company paid life insurance and long term disability insurance, paid parking, 401(K) with company contribution, and participation in the Company's stock incentive plan.
