lntralytix was founded in 1998 to address growing problems in the control and treatment of disease-causing bacteria. These problems are presently compounded by public and governmental reluctance to employ new and potentially hazardous chemical agents or solutions born of recombinant technology. Intralytix is using its core bacteriophage technology to develop novel natural products for use in food processing, environmental clean-up, sanitation, consumer products, and problems of antibiotic resistance in human therapy.
